Our Southern Burgundy tour has started

Our first Southern Burgundy tour has begun!

Despite all the trials and tribulations of navigating Heathrow, the flight was only slightly delayed so we arrived in Macon just in time for a quick turnround and out for dinner. At restaurant L’Ardoise in the centre of the town, Chef Stephane and his team served up the perfect first night dinner: traditional local ham terrine, chicken in a rich sauce, une assiette of local cheese and dessert. All washed down with some delicious Viré-Clessé and a Macon rouge. The perfect start to our tour.
