The 2023 tour season has officially started with a return to the Peloponnese in Greece and the beautiful town of Nafplio. The weather forecast is bright and sunny and a diverse array of tastings and lunches awaits.
Despite BA’s plans to scupper our schedule, we arrived in time for dinner at Arapakos restaurant for what is now our customary first night dinner. The food and wine flowed as a delicious selection of Greek salads, aubergine, grilled prawns, calamari, Dorado and walnut pie was served – all washed down with a Roditis/Moschofilero white blend from the Palivos estate and an Agiorgitiko red from the renowned Skouras winery.
