Galicia 2019 – plenty to look forward to

I have just got back from my reconnaissance trip to Galicia and have been absolutely wowed by this part of Spain.

The Atlantic coastline is rugged and diverse and as you head inland, you discover verdant scenery, forests, amazing river valleys and a host of fabulous wines that are waiting to be discovered.

Our tours in Galicia will start with two days in the pretty town of Cambados – right in the heart of Rias Baixas – the home of Albarino.  The Parador where we stay for two nights is ideally situated, very close to the coast and literally moments from lots of bars and restaurants.

From Cambados we will head to Monforte de Lemos – a historic town that is the perfect base to explore the Ribeiro, Ribeira Sacra and Bierzo wine regions.  This section of Spain is so very different from many people’s image and I can’t wait to show the groups next year the diversity, quality and range of wines that this area produces.

Bookings for Galicia have been so strong that I have added a third tour:
Wednesday 15th –  Sunday 19th May 2019.  Please get in touch if you would like to find out more!
