Final tour to Southern Burgundy has commenced

Our third and final Southern Burgundy tour has started! Quite a few of us enjoyed the delights of the long queue at Terminal 3 prior to security but we all made it and arrived in Lyon about half an hour behind schedule. Then we were off to Mâcon, quick check in and turn round and off for dinner at l’Ardoise restaurant. Stephane, the chef owner, has done a great job over the three weeks and we tucked into the classic Jambon Persillé, Poulet de Bresse a la Crème, assiette de fromages and an apple dessert. Washed down with some excellent Saint Veran and a Mâcon rouge this got the tour off to a great start.
