The second leg of our Australian tour has started and we are based in Adelaide, ideally placed for easy access to iconic wine regions such as Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills, Mclaren Vale and Clare Valley. Eight of the Margaret River contingent are joining up with a further thirteen thirsty souls in what is destined to be another great week.
We kicked off with a drink in our hotel and then set off for Georges restaurant – an iconic establishment in central Adelaide.
A superb meal unfolded as we tucked into three delicious courses.
Washed down with an eclectic set of wines such as Nero’d’Avola, Grenache, Roussanne as well as more familiar Shiraz and Semillon, we ate Barramundi, chicken, lamb, swordfish and delightful Tiramisu.
