I have been delighted by the response to my 2016 programme of tours, which I launched a couple of months ago.
One of the Puglia tours is sold out, and there are only a few places remaining on several of the other tours I am running. We’re doing our best to keep availability details updated on the website.
I recently returned from Portugal and am very excited about the day we will spend to the south in Dao and Bairrada – particularly because we will be revisiting a winery that everyone loved back in 2007. Boas Quintas will be hosting us for lunch once again in the beautiful family home, but we will be able to visit their brand new winery (literally just finished), and find out about the new and exciting developments from owner and winemaker Nuno Cancela de Abreu.
In Puglia we will be spoiling ourselves, staying in five star luxury in beautiful Lecce.
Piedmont and Burgundy are of course very popular, but I’ve been really gratified by the number of people who are coming to Germany – just 3 places left. There’s good availability for Alsace, but I have to remind myself that that is over a year away!
I finalised details of the Californian and Oregon tours at the end of September, and the first Californian tour is nearly sold out.
And of course I’m off to Chile and Argentina in a week!
