First day in Galicia

Our first of three Galicia tours has started and what a start!
Bright sunshine greeted our arrival at Porto airport and a seamless journey enabled us to have plenty of time to relax before dinner.
After a quick glass of fizz in the delightful enclosed courtyard of the Parador in Cambados we headed for dinner.
The Michelin starred Yayo Deporta restaurant was our destination and we enjoyed a quite magnificent dinner.
A seven course extravaganza that included anchovy tapenade, grilled hake, roasted goat, an egg truffle and mushroom creation and an amazing chocolate finale (I’ve made a start on this year’s collection of photos of puddings) – all washed down with some stunning Albariño from restaurant family’s estate and some Mencía.
A truly fabulous start to the tour!
