Back in Sicily

Our third Sicily tour has started and British Airways played its part with a prompt arrival at Catania airport and we headed thirty minutes north along the coast to the pretty seaside town of Aci Castello. The hotel Faraglioni was once again our destination and once again a fabulous lunch ensued. The dining room looks straight out to the ‘faraglioni dei Ciclopi’, small rocky formations rising out of the sea.  It was a beautiful sunny day and we tucked in!

Aubergine Melanzane, vegetable risotto, grilled seabass and strawberries for dessert. All washed down with some lovely Grillo and Nero d’Avola. We had a little walk along the promenade before heading back south to Siracusa.

A good start!
