A great start to our Argentina tour as we literally popped across the road to Cordillera Vinos y Fuegos restaurant.

Nestor, the owner, was in fine form and hosted a lovely dinner. We were also lucky to have Exequiel Duarte from the esteemed Lagarde winery on hand to help us taste through a range of wines from the estate. Mollejas con Provolone was our starter – loosely translates as gizzards and cheese – and was delicious accompanied by the Lagarde Viognier and Chardonnay. Prime rib eye beef was our main – cooked to perfection medium rare on the traditional parrilla. Some top class Malbec followed. We just about managed to squeeze in dessert before rolling across the road back to the hotel. Top start to the tour!
