Gearing up again for the joys of Perugia. The weather forecast is a bit hotter this week so even more opportunities to enjoy sumptuous Umbrian and Tuscan countryside bathed in a warm summer glow.
Hopefully, that is not the kiss of death for the weather.
We have a similar line up of visits – the only change being on Saturday morning when we visit Giovanni – the owner at Cantina Cenci.
Cenci is a relatively new estate producing IGT Umbria wines and will provide a great opportunity to explore another aspect of Umbrian viticulture.
Moreno Peccia at Cantine La Spina has got the mobile bottling plant in on Saturday – hence the change.
With the experience of the first tour I have cut back on the menus slightly – hopefully avoiding the white flag of excess being waved before the main course!
